Caitlin Kunkel is a screenwriter, playwright and producer living in Chicago.  Her plays have been read at theaters across the city and she sold a screenplay, Zahra, in 2008.  She has produced several short films including Positive Comment, which received a grant from the National Board of Review and was acquired for national broadcast by MTV Networks.  She has taught Screenwriting at Northwestern University and English as a Second Language as a Fulbright Scholar in Indonesia.  Caitlin holds a BA in Writing Seminars from Johns Hopkins University and an MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Northwestern University.  She was raised in the bustling metropolis of Warwick, Rhode Island.
