As a writer and director, Erik's short films have screened at more than 100 festivals around the world, including Just For Laughs, SXSW, and Chicago International Film Festival. His comedic shorts have been broadcast on IFC, PBS, and The Logo Channel (MTV Networks), as well as been distributed on DVD by First Run Features and Strand Releasing. He produced and co-wrote the sketch comedy revue Mantabulous! that Timeout Chicago named a comedy "#1 Don't Miss." Erik has an MFA in Writing for the Stage and Screen from Northwestern University.
