Online Writing

Students living outside of the Chicago area can still study comedy sketch writing! Students receive individual instruction through one-on-one email correspondence, exploring the fundamentals of character development and theatrical scene structure. Exercises include a variety of comedic genres, from "Simple Yet Impossible Goal" to "Clash of Context" to "Inappropriate Response." Students enroll for 8-week terms and may enroll up to three times.
