Experienced student writers gain skills to write a treatment for a traditionally structured screenplay in Screenwriting 1 and create a script in Screenwriting 2.

Students who have an understanding of Sketch Comedy will begin the process of writing a treatment for a traditionally structured screenplay, building on their writing skills to understand structure, character and plot. Students will work at an accelerated pace as they complete writing assignments, analyze great movies for character and plot structure and pitch stories.

Prerequisites: Story for TV & Film or instructor approval

Screenwriting 2 TBA

Students use the preparation from Screenwriting 1 to develop a full, original screenplay.

Screenwriting 3 TBA

Continue work on your Screenplay in a supportive environment with significant personal feedback from instructors.
