Producing 101

I have an idea for a show but where do I put it up? How do I fundraise? How can I get people to see it beyond my family and friends? How much time does this all take? All shows can be done with little to no budget and get real audience. Featuring guest industry speakers, this workshop will unlock some of the mystery behind what it takes to go from idea to stage.

Producing 102 TERMS 4 & 5 2013

In this advanced course, the class will become the production team for the Sketch Ensemble Project. Get a high-level look behind the scenes of producing a show to learn what it takes to bring a show from idea to success. The course will include scheduling, budgeting, fundraising, creating community partnerships, setting up a marketing plan, press relations, and setting up a social network presence for the show. Real-world challenges, small class size, and one-on-one teacher attention ensure you get the skills to fill the house - and launch your own future dream project.

$340, 8 classes over 16 weeks (specific class dates to be outlined by the instructor)
