House ensembles

Conservatory graduates are invited to audition for our house ensembles. Performing with the house ensembles are an individual's best chance to be considered for employment by The Second City. Ensemble members begin with Twisty performing fully-improvised shows. Members are selected to continue with the groups Moxie and Next to create material for the staging of their own sketch comedy revue.
 
Auditions for the house ensembles are held periodically throughout the year. These auditions are only available to Conservatory graduates. Information will be updated here as it becomes available.
 
Graduates of the Music Improv program are encouraged to audition for the Music Improv House Ensemble Infinite Sundaes.

Improv Ensembles

Prerequisites: Open to graduates of the Conservatory only.

For graduates who finished the Conservatory before 2011 and have not previously contacted the office for the audition approval, please create a student profile for yourself if you do not already have one and email chicagoadmissions@secondcity.com to ensure that you have the audition approval added to your profile. Students currently enrolled in Level 6 are ineligible.

Music Improv Ensembles

Prerequisites: Open to graduates of the Music Improv Program and Conservatory only.
