This four-week workshop focuses on building scenes as inspired by and influenced by music, treating the music director as a fellow improviser, and using music to develop improvisational skills. Concepts covered would include: using music to build the elements of a scene (emotion, relationship, environment); silent scenes based on music (both piano and recorded music); style work; and basic musical improv using musicality to create relationship and point-of-view.
