Rising Stars!

Ages 13-14

Do you like Glee? Do you dream of starring in your own Broadway musical? Then join us in this class and write and perform in your own musical comedy! In this 14-week course students learn story and lyric writing techniques used to develop their own original musical work. Finally the instructors set the student’s lyrics to music, compile and edit the final script to direct the ensemble in a performance of their very own original musical.

Rising Stars! FALL 2013

Teen Talk (ages 13-14) - Listeners love Teen Talk, an award-winning radio show by, for and about interesting teens. But now the station management is threatening to replace Teen Talk with the higher-rated news program, Our Dangerous World. The teens who produce Teen Talk set out on a crusade to save their show! This original musical will feature student singing, dancing, writing and improvisation. The class will culminate in an end-of-term performance.

Rising Stars! is also available for ages 6-8 and ages 9-12!
