Advanced Music Improv is an 8-week course designed for graduates of the Music Improv Program. Students will explore the many applications and structures of long-form singprov. Tackling performance models from montages to rock operas, elaborately structured to free-form, mini-musicals to 2-act improvised adaptations, this class focuses on fine-tuning existing skills and gaining experience in a wide range of performance templates. The curriculum culminates in the end-of-term performance of an original structure developed by the ensemble.
