The Writer's Salon

We are pleased to host a regular series of discussions with professional writers from the television, film and theater communities in a special series for Training Center students and their guests. Check back here for more Writer's Salon events as they are scheduled.

Past guests have included Emmy Award winner Dave Thomas, 30 Rock's John Lutz, Emmy-winning writer Dino Stamatopoulos, SNL writer Tom Flanigan, Night Court creator Reinhold Weege, and sitcom/screenwriter Steven Kampmann.

Jon Glaser is the creator and star of Delocated on Adult Swim. Other acting credits include Parks and Recreation, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 30 Rock, Mayne Street, The Dictator, Wonder Showzen, and the upcoming season of Girls. TV writing credits include Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Dana Carvey Show, and Human Giant. He wrote the book My Dead Dad Was In ZZ Top published by Harper Perennial. He recently directed a music video for Bob Mould. He also created the character Dave "Tiny Hands" Gordon for which he made a series of web videos for Comedy Central.

The Writer's Salon with Jon Glaser will be moderated by Second City's Executive Vice President Kelly Leonard.
