Study and practice the essential tools of directing for the stage! Students can choose to study directing techniques for improvisation, sketch comedy, or plays.
$275 per term, 8 weeks, 3 hours
Intro to Directing Improvisation
Learn how to create a freeing environment for the improvisational performer and group. Study how to coach and direct both short-form and simple long-form improvistion, with and emphasis on creating strong scenic performance. Students in the class function as both performers and directors (no outside actors will be used), as to understand both sides of the directorial process.
