Improv Ensembles

Ages 11-18

This intensive performance-oriented class explores working within an ensemble, scenic improvisation and performance games. Class culminates with a performance in Donny’s Skybox Theatre.

Prerequisite: Audition required. Students should have at least six months improvisation or related theatre experience (two terms of improv training at the Training Center would suffice).

The Improv Ensembles will be available in Summer 2012 in a twice-weekly session running June 27-August 10 (no classes on July 4) from 4:00-6:30pm. Auditions will be held on Saturday, June 16. Call the Training Center at 312-664-3959 to sign up for an audition.

$350, 12 weeks, 2.5 hours
$350, 6 weeks, 2.5 hours, Twice per week (Summer Session only)

Note: Students interested in auditioning for the ensembles should not register for a conflicting class before auditions. Once audition results are announced students may register for any open classes.

Performance dates for the summer ensemble are August 8 & 10 at 5:30pm in Donny's Skybox Theatre.
