Directing and Producing
Classes for Educators
Professional Courses are for students who are embarking on a professional career in improv, writing, acting, or comedy. Please note that all classes under this section have prerequisites that include an audition and/or completion of other coursework at the Second City.
Youth & Teen Courses - Chicago
Youth and Teen classes are for students ages 4-18. All classes are grouped by ages; proof of age may be requested at any time. Full classes are held in 14-week Fall and Winter sessions with 6-week sessions available in late Fall, Spring and Summer. Some classes are available in our 7-week Late Fall 2014 term beginning November 4-6. These include Imaginaction, ImprovX, and teen Improv classes.
Winter 2015 classes begin Saturday, January 10. Enroll by December 31 to get early registration tuition! Winter Break and Spring Break camps are also open for registration!
Scholarships are available for the 14-week Fall and Winter terms and Summer Camps. The application for Winter 2015 is available here; applications are due Monday, December 1 by 5pm.
