Scott Dikkers is the founder of theonion.com, and its longest-serving editor-in-chief. He launched it as the world's first humor website in 1996 and created its now-famous news-parody format. He edited and co-wrote The Onion's #1 New York Times bestselling books, "Our Dumb Century" and "Our Dumb World."

Aside from his work at The Onion, Dikkers has written award-winning viral short films, the top-rated podcast "The Weekly Radio Address," a best-selling collection of his daily comic strip, "Jim's Journal," and many other humor books. His work has won the Thurber Prize for American Humor, a Peabody Award, and over 30 Webby Awards.
