Welcome to the Youth & Teen Program!

Welcome to the Youth & Teen Program! Image

Any Youth or Teen student can take a class with The Second City! We welcome all experience levels for students from ages 4-18. Classes are led by performers/instructors who are experienced working with young students. We divide classes up by age groups suited to their educational development; exceptions will not be made to allow students to be in a differently aged class. Proof of age may be requested at any time.

Our Youth & Teen terms run for 14 weeks (Fall term from Sept-Dec & Winter term Jan-April) or 6 weeks (Late Fall from Oct-Dec, Spring term late April-early June, and Summer term for ages 4-10 June-early August). See current class offerings here. During the summer we offer two-week Summer Camps for students ages 11-18. We also offer shorter week-long Intensives during the school year to coincide with school breaks.

Please note that all class registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable, so you should ensure that your child is available to attend and interested in the class before completing a registration.

How to register
You can register online through any of the registration links on our website or directly at; for online registration for children under age 13, the parent/guardian must first create a profile for themselves, then click "Add a family member" to create a record for the child. You can also register by phone at 312-664-3959 or in person at the Training Center office.
