Mick is the founder of Chicago’s Annoyance Theatre and Annoyance Productions, in addition to working as a Director and Artistic Consultant for The Second City. He has directed more than 15 Second City productions including the award winning Paradigm Lost, the premier production at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, the 45th Anniversary show Red Scare, as well as An Evening With Martin Short. In New York, Mick also directed David Sedaris’ off-Broadway Obie Award winning hit One Woman Shoe. Mick’s television and film credits include directing Annoyance’s feature film Fatty Drives the Bus as well as the Cable Ace Nominated show Exit 57. As an actor, Mick has appeared in films including Ice Harvest and Let's Go to Prison. Mick also has conducted classes and workshops in improvisation around the world, and is the author of the book Improvise. Scene from the Inside Out. Mick currently performs in a show called Skinprov at The Annoyance, and is in post for a mini-feature film he co-wrote and performs in, called Bandicoot.
