Karen is a Canadian Comedy Award winner, most recently seen on the Second City Toronto Mainstage where she co-created and performed three revues: Barack to the Future (Canadian Comedy Award Winner), Facebook of Revelations (Canadian Comedy Award Winner) and Tazed and Confused (Dora Award Nominee). In 2008 Bravo! FACT adapted four sketches from the Second City’s acclaimed stage show, Facebook of Revelations, into four short films, which Karen co-wrote and starred in.
 
Karen has toured with The Nearly World Famous Duffle Bag Theatre and has performed with theatre companies across Ontario, Native Earth, Port Stanley Festival Theatre, Georgian Festival Theatre and Lighthouse Festival Theatre.  As well for Lighthouse she adapted several of Shakespeare’s works for children and directed their young company for three seasons.

She can be heard occasionally on CBC’s GO! Show.  Selected film and television credits include The John Dore Show, CTV’s Instant Star, YTV’s System Crash, Global’s The Final 24, Forensic Factor and The Four Horseman.
