Andy Cobb is a Second City Chicago veteran who started writing, directing, and performing satirical video while performing on Second City's ETC stage, where he wrote four shows. The politically-themed sketch videos he writes and directs have recently been seen over 6 million times online, and seen recently on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, NPR, Newsweek, Nightline, and Current Television. As a comic he's recently made studio appearances on CNN, MSNBC, Air America, and FOX News. Andy has written, performed and produced satirical advocacy projects for Brave New Films, MoveOn.org, SEIU, AAEI, Courage Campaign, and Healthcare For America Now. His satirical video pieces were recently called "genius" by Washington Post's Chris Cillizza, "brilliant" by Huffington Post, and "must-see TV" for beltway journalists by Politico.com. He recently has written and performed with Second City for shows on the "Art Of Satire" with Economist Magazine, sketch shows at the Democratic National Convention, and a new Second City revue to be produced and developed in Laguna Beach, California. He teaches improv and writing at Second City Los Angeles, directs the Second City alum satirical video group Public Service Administrtation, and performs with Second City veteran all-stars The 313. As an actor he's worked for FOX, MTV, ABC, Current TV, and in innumberable regional and national commercials.
