The Second City
Amanda Blake Davis is a graduate of Providence College with a degree in Humanities. She has been acting, writing and performing in Chicago professionally for the last 12 years. She is a veteran of The Second City etc stage where she wrote and performed in 5 revues. Shows included Disposable Nation, Campaign Supernova and Studs Terkel’s Not Working, for which she received a Jeff Award for Best Actress in a revue. Amanda currently performs in Sex, Love and The Second City at The UP Comedy Club and the original musical Broads on Boards at The Annoyance Theatre. She improvises with Baby Wants Candy, Virgin Daiquiri & The Armando Diaz Experience. She has directed The Second City’s House Ensemble’s original revues Right Place, Rahm Time and Singin’ In Refrain, as well as the solo sketch show 86'd and Best Musical! at Porchlight Music Theater.
