Cheri Lynne Vanden Heuvel hails from Detroit and calls L.A. home. Currently she is a member of the improv troupe “Detroit Sandwich” This spring she returned to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival to play Mistress Page in the Merry Wives of Windsor. Previously in Alabama, she played in To Kill a Mockingbird and Andromache in The Trojan Women. Cheri is an alumnus of the The Second City-Detroit Mainstage where she taught, wrote and performed sketch comedy. Cheri has also been seen at 16th St. Theatre in Chicago, The Great Lakes Theatre Festival, The Idaho Shakespeare Festival as Titania in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, The Kennedy Center, The Detroit Repertory Theatre and The Purple Rose Theatre. Cheri received her B.F.A. at The University of Detroit and her M.F.A. at The University of Missouri-Kansas City.
