David Alfano is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such a great cast and director in this Best of The Second City show! A native of little ol' Rhode Island, David was engaged in comedy and entertaining from a very young age. Some people in attendance even laughed during the birthing process...but not his mother. He received his B.A. from Emerson College where he hosted the 25 Annual Evvy Awards, and has been performing in LA ever since. His recent film and video credits include Ollie's Place, Permagrin, Northside Comedy, the "Honey & Joy" web sitcom, and "The Best Way To Quit Smoking," a video that he co-wrote for The Second City Network. David has also appeared in commercials for Jack in the Box and Sony. He performed on stage in LA in the Actors Collective production of Reinaldo Povod's Broadway play "Cuba and his Teddy Bear," as well as in the live comedy "Drunk Talk," and in the one act comedy "The Real Housewives of William Shakespeare" in which he simultaneously played all 8 male roles. Lots of mid-show wardrobe changes. David has studied and performed improv and sketch comedy at The Second City and IO West, and is a graduate of The Second City Hollywood Conservatory. You can always find him performing improv, in the past with "Bramigo!" and "Crisis Averted", and currently with "David and Goliath" and the "Second City Improv Ensemble." Most recently, David was fortunate enough to be cast in the 5th Annual NBC Diversity Showcase. Sidebar: David is also a certified Sommelier (true story), so in addition to entertaining you, he'll also pair the perfect wine to go with your laughter.
