Katie earned her B.S. (yup) at Northwestern University before traveling with The Second City Touring Company for three and half years. Beyond Second City, Katie improvises at iO Chicago, and her solo work has been seen at iO Los Angeles, UCB New York, TBS’ Just for Laughs Festival, and the Paper Machete - Chicago’s only Live Magazine. Commercial credits include: Sonic Drive-in, Lexus, Radio Shack, HarleyDavidson and more. Movie credits include: Martin Short’s Let Freedom Hum, Harold Ramis’ The Ice Harvest and with Abigail Breslin in the upcoming Janie Jones. Katie would be nowhere without her friends and worse than nowhere without her family, especially her folks, Mickey and Lou Rich, to whom she owes everything. Go Bears!
