The Second City is always on the look-out for energetic, highly-motivated interns. We offer Administrative Internships in Production, which includes work in all of the following areas: marketing, operations, audience services and archiving-- all relating to shows produced at The Second City.

We're looking for interns who:

• Have a genuine interest in arts administration
• Have been involved in a production in any capacity: production, stage management, marketing, advertising, direction, musical direction, musician, performer etc.
• Have the ability to work within a team-based work structure
• Possess initiative, conscientiousness and strong self-management skills
• Have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Can cheerfully deal with working at a breakneck speed, constant changes in direction and juggling many tasks at once
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel especially) is a must, and experience with databases is preferred.

The Second City offers internships year round. The rotations usually break out like this:

Internship hours are from 10am- 4pm Monday- Friday. Interns typically work 2-3 days per week with a team of intern colleagues.
