The road to working on one of The Second City's Equity resident stages usually begins with a tour of duty in one of The Second City's Touring Companies. The Touring Company performs Second City revues around the globe while also serving as a direct talent pool for The Second City Theatres.
The Second City Touring Company holds auditions once a year. To be considered for auditions, you must have either completed a program of study in improvisation or had more than a year experience of performing improvisation.
The Second City does accept unsolicited Headshots and Resumes from those who have either completed a program of study in improvisation or had more than a year experience of performing improvisation. If you would like to receive an email with a notification when General Auditions are posted, please include that on your cover letter.
