Since the early 1970's, The Second City Training Centre has been redefining the art of comedy.  It is the training ground for many of this generation's finest comedic actors, writers, directors and business leaders.  Catherine O’Hara, Mike Myers, Gilda Radner, Joe Flahrety, Robin Duke, Paul Bates, Bruce Pirrie are amongst the great Alumni.  Today, The Second City Training Centre is the largest school of improvisation and sketch comedy in the world.

We offer improvisation, stand up, and writing classes.  We welcome amateurs looking to try something new, and advanced players looking to hone their craft.  Whether you’re a business professional looking to improve your presentation skills or a student looking to meet new friends, The Second City Training Centre is the place to be.

Want to see what a Second City Class is like before you sign up?  Or just want to get some extra play time?  Try the Drop In Improv class EVERY Monday 6-8pm only $5.  No preregistration required.  (It’s recommended to show up at least 15 min. early as this is a popular class).
